Universal Music's Audiophile Recording Division Supports Isotek

E-mail Print PDF

We have recently been informed by ISOTEK that their range of products were accepted even in the recording industry.  Read on......

In addition to improving sound quality when playing music at home, ISOTEK products can make a tremendous difference in the studio when music is recorded.  Major record labels Universal Music is well aware of the benefits, having used ISOTEK equipment during the recording of the latest album by George Lam -Lin Zi Xiang, one of its biggest-selling Asian stars.

George is a leading exponent of 'Cantonpop' (a colloquialism for Cantonese popular music). Mixing traditional Chinese musical influences with international styles including jazz, rock 'n' roll and rhythm 'n' blues, Cantonpop is hugely popular throughout Southeast Asia.  His latest album, LAMUSIK, was recorded with the use of ISOTEK power cables and conditioners throughout the recording chain to ensure optimum sound quality.

Ernest Lau, of Universal Music's audiophile recording division, was instrumental in specifying ISOTEK equipment for the recording sessions.  "We chose ISOTEK power conditioners because of the sonic improvements we knew they would bring to the recording." said Ernest.  " The most surprising thing was the difference the ISOTEK Syncro cable made in powering the mic and pre-mic that was used to capture George Lam's unique vocal. The increased dynamic range was quite staggering."

Will Cleaning the Mains/Power supply improve my system?

E-mail Print PDF

CLEAN POWER = PURE SOUND.

The first input into any audio or AV system is electricity.  It flows through the system, utilized by each component in turn to create the signal that eventually moves the speakers' drive units and delivers the pixels on screen.  What we see and hear is ultimately fashioned from, and by, mains electricity- it's the "raw material" from which the art is created.

The mains supply is polluted by numerous contaminants; we are constantly bathed in a sea of RFI and EMI, which corrupts the electricity supply and degrades the performance of audio components. What's more, all the electrical item you use in your home, from computer to washing machines, affect the supply and erode your system's potential.

As the electronic devices we use proliferate and the demand for electricity escalates, the quality of the electricity we feed our systems continues to slide.

Running an audio or AV system on unconditioned mains/power is like running a car on dirty petrol; performance is degraded and the engine's longevity is reduced.  For people who care about sound and picture quality, its a serious problem.  The solution? Call us@Musiclink Tel:65-62911106. We specialise in providing a Clean power solution to achieve Audio Nirvana.

The improvements delivered by power conditioners are immediate and emphatic.  The noise floor drops and the sound gains greater focus, with reduced grain and improved clarity.

Bass is tighter and better defined, treble gains space and air, and the overall musical performance appears more solid and dynamic, and hence more 'real'.

In AV systems, picture quality is similarly enhanced, with richer colors, improved depth and greater definition.
